Dog Photography Glasgow

FAQs

A few things you might be wondering.

Does my dog need to be well trained, or able to go off lead?
Not at all. Every dog is welcome, whatever their training. Sit, stay and down are handy if your dog knows them, but they’re not essential. We work with your dog as they are, and some of the best portraits come from the moments in between. Your dog stays safely on their lead with you throughout, and where possible, we remove the lead when editing your final portraits.
How long does a session last?
A session typically lasts around an hour. That’s enough time for your dog to settle in, explore and relax, without tiring them out.
Where do the photography sessions take place?
We focus on natural outdoor locations around Glasgow and surrounding areas. We can discuss suitable locations when arranging your session.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Scottish weather can be unpredictable. If conditions aren’t suitable for photography, we can discuss rearranging your session.
Is it going to be expensive?
A portrait with us is an investment in something you’ll keep for years. Your session is £149 and includes £50 towards your artwork. From there, you choose only what you love, with no pressure to buy and no minimum spend. Keepsakes start at £109, and most artwork is an investment of between £249 and £1,500. You can see our framed wall art, albums and digital collections, with prices, on the Artwork page.
Can I order wall art or albums?
Yes. We offer finished wall art from £149 and luxury photo albums from £249. These are optional purchases, available separately from your photography session.
How much does a photography session cost?
Our photography experience costs £149. The session fee is paid in full when you book. Your session includes £50 credit, taken off whatever you choose from your gallery.
Are digital photographs included in the session price?
Digital photographs are purchased separately. Your session includes £50 credit, taken off whatever you choose from your gallery.
When do I choose my photographs?
Within 2 to 4 weeks of your session, your photographs will be ready in your own private online gallery. Take your time choosing the photographs or keepsakes you’d like to purchase. Orders are paid in full when you place them.
Do I have to purchase additional photographs?
No. There is no obligation to make any additional purchases following your session.
What can I use my £50 credit towards?
Your session includes £50 credit, taken off whatever you choose from your gallery.
Can I bring more than one dog?
Of course. The session fee stays the same and the time is shared between your dogs, with portraits of each and, where they're happy together, some of them side by side.
Do you travel outside Glasgow?
Yes. Sessions in Glasgow and our local areas have no travel charge. Further afield, such as Stirling, Edinburgh or Helensburgh, a small travel charge applies, and we'll confirm it with you before you book.
Can I give a session as a gift?
Yes. Each gift is a photoshoot plus the artwork agreed with the buyer, planned together and paid in full in advance. It is not a monetary amount and has no cash value; the recipient never sees a price. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase, and the session must take place within that time.
