Suitable outdoor urban settings
Architectural textures and simple lines can create distinctive portraits. We agree a suitable public outdoor setting after discussing traffic, distractions and access; no specific street is promised.
Outdoor photography · Glasgow City Centre
Outdoor city portraits can combine a dog’s character with Glasgow’s architectural textures, or use nearby greenery for a more natural background.
Enquire About a SessionAn outdoor urban background creates a different portrait from woodland or open parkland. Architectural lines, stonework and the shape of a street can bring structure to a photograph, while a nearby green space can soften the overall feel. City Centre dog photography does not have to mean photographing on a crowded pavement: we discuss the surroundings you want and whether those surroundings are suitable for your dog.
For people in Merchant City, Townhead or Garnethill, the conversation may begin with how their dog responds to traffic, noise and unfamiliar pedestrians. Owners in Finnieston, Anderston, Charing Cross and Woodlands may prefer to consider a green setting towards the West End instead. Glasgow Green is another existing suggested outdoor location to discuss, rather than an assumed meeting place for every central enquiry.
The photography experience is outdoors and focuses entirely on your dog. We do not claim unrestricted access to particular streets, private courtyards or buildings. A proposed setting needs room for a safe session, appropriate access and conditions that allow your dog to settle. Tell us if you prefer an urban character or a natural background when you enquire. We can consider alternatives before agreeing a location, with local rules and the safety of dogs, owners and other people taking priority over a particular backdrop.

Already among our suggested locations, the park offers open lawns and riverside surroundings to consider for a central enquiry. Suitability and current conditions still need discussing.
For Woodlands, Charing Cross or Finnieston owners, a park setting towards the West End may be worth considering if an urban environment would be too distracting.
The photography experience
The £149 experience includes a complimentary consultation by phone or video and a relaxed outdoor session, typically around 60 minutes. Your private online gallery is ready 2 to 4 weeks after your session.
Your session fee covers your consultation and photoshoot. Digital photographs, wall art and albums are chosen afterwards from your private gallery. Your session includes £50 credit, taken off whatever you choose from your gallery.
Optional Photography ProductsYou can tell us the style you have in mind. We consider whether an outdoor setting is safe, accessible and suitable before agreeing a session there.
No. Our photography experience takes place outdoors or in your own garden, with the location discussed through your enquiry.
Mention this when enquiring. We can discuss a green-space alternative rather than assume a city street is appropriate.
Send a photography session enquiry using the contact form. We can then discuss your dog, the preferred setting and the photography experience.
