End-of-Life Photography
The Last Chapter — End-of-Life Dog Photography in Glasgow
For dogs approaching the end of their lives, The Last Chapter offers a gentle photography experience focused on the time you have together.
Sessions are arranged around your dog’s comfort and circumstances, and take place outdoors — in your garden, at a familiar location, or in an accessible outdoor space close to home.

When Time Matters
Knowing that your time together may be limited is never easy.
The Last Chapter gives you the opportunity to have your dog professionally photographed while they’re still with you, capturing their character and the connection you share.
There’s no expectation for your dog to do anything beyond what they’re comfortable with. We’ll work around their needs and keep the experience as relaxed as possible.
A Session at Their Pace
Every session is planned around your dog’s health, mobility and comfort.
We can photograph your dog in your garden, at a familiar outdoor location or in an accessible outdoor space close to home. If they’re unable to walk far or need frequent breaks, we’ll adapt the session accordingly.
You’re welcome to include family members, other pets or anything familiar that you’d like to have in the portraits.
Your dog’s welfare always comes first.
Priority Arrangements
We understand that circumstances can change quickly.
Following your session, we carefully select the strongest portraits and prepare them for your private reveal. The portraits you choose for your artwork then receive their final, detailed retouching before being prepared for printing and production.
Priority Booking
We’ll do our best to arrange your session at short notice, subject to availability.
Priority Editing
Your portraits will be prioritised within our editing schedule.
Private Reveal
Once your portraits are ready, we’ll arrange a private viewing in person or by video call, as soon as reasonably possible.
Your session fee includes:
- A pre-session consultation.
- A portrait session arranged around your dog’s needs.
- Your photographer’s time and travel within Glasgow.
- Priority editing of your portraits.
- A private portrait reveal, in person or by video call.
Portraits and artwork are purchased separately at your reveal.
Each purchased artwork piece includes a matching social-media-resolution digital image for sharing with family and friends.
